Access to specialist orthopaedic and amputee physiotherapy can be limited for clients with complex presentations living in the community, and momentum is easily lost. We remove that barrier by going to the client. In Hertfordshire that usually means treatment at home, but we also work in local gyms, leisure centres, workplaces and wherever else the client’s goals point us. For clients who would benefit from a gym and facility based block of rehabilitation, our clinic near Chelmsford is within reach of east Hertfordshire. It offers a private treatment room, a fully equipped gym, a movement analysis lab with force plate technology, indoor sports courts and extensive grounds, with free parking on site.
Every physiotherapist on the TraumaPhysio team has specialised in orthopaedic trauma and amputee rehabilitation, and all are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. We hold regular peer to peer supervision and appraisal, and we have close links with our sister services NeuroPhysio and PaedsPhysio, so a client with a mixed neurological and orthopaedic presentation can draw on both skill sets without a second referral.
