TraumaPhysio works with clients throughout Essex, including Chelmsford, Brentwood, Colchester, Basildon and Southend-on-Sea. Essex is one of our strongest areas of cover, and it is also where our facility based rehabilitation is located.
We are instructed regularly for clients across Essex. That work covers initial needs assessments, costed rehabilitation plans and quantified recommendations. Our case managers page outlines the way we work within a claim and the reporting that comes with it.
Case managed work has its own rhythm and we are used to it. Our aim is the best achievable outcome, supported by reasoning that holds up and a service that responds when it needs to.
The practice was founded to meet the needs of clients recovering from major trauma and limb loss. Our work in Essex spans complex fracture management, ligament and soft tissue injury, degloving injuries, amputee rehabilitation and post-surgical recovery. Our problems we help page details the clinical picture in full.
Our services are organised around the presentations we see most often:
For clients with complex needs, travelling to an outpatient department is often the barrier that stops rehabilitation altogether. In Essex we treat at the client’s address, and use gyms, leisure centres and workplaces when the goal calls for it. Our areas covered page explains what a visiting service involves.
For clients suited to a facility based block, our clinic near Chelmsford is on the doorstep for clients across the county. It provides private treatment rooms, gym equipment, movement analysis with force plate technology, indoor sports courts and grounds, parking included.
The clinicians on the TraumaPhysio team specialise in orthopaedic trauma and amputee rehabilitation and are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. Peer to peer supervision is standard, and our connection to NeuroPhysio and PaedsPhysio means clients with mixed presentations are not passed elsewhere.
Our Essex coverage runs from Brentwood and Basildon through Chelmsford to Colchester and Southend-on-Sea, taking in the smaller towns between. Ask about anywhere else in the county and we will give you a straight answer.
Our FAQs address what case managers usually want to know before instructing. Anything client specific is best discussed directly.
