Return to Life

Our trauma physio programmes ensure that your progression is beyond the clinic. And helps you get back to living the life that you want.

Return To Life

After a traumatic injury getting your life back can feel like a mountain to climb. At TraumaPhysio we are here to help guide you.

Sometimes it can feel like your rehabilitation is focused on someone else’s goals and timeframes and that you are a passenger in the process, rather than being the driving force. We strongly believe that you should be the one to determine the goals and aims of your treatment, not someone else. At TraumaPhysio we are passionate about helping people to recover.

We provide rehabilitation that’s interesting, fulfilling, and relevant to your life. If you are feeling overwhelmed by your physical situation, we can help you break down your goals into smaller steps, whilst giving you realistic time scales and expectations.

“your life, your goals”

TraumaPhysio believe that your life goals are an integral part of your rehabilitation.

Each situation is unique and an intensive boot camp may work well for one person, whilst a more structured programme of exercises to be completed independently may work better for someone else.

The recommendations we make will address the specific problems that you have identified and meet your personal ambitions. Our approach is to take you beyond the clinic and support a return to your normal life. TraumaPhysio therefore work where we’re needed, on the activities that bring meaning to your life. We have supported people to return to work, gyms, hobbies and interests as well as explore new ones such as climbing, snow sports and kayaking.

Testimonials

See what our customers have to say about us...

Helen worked with my 88 year old Mum following her knee replacement. I was very very impressed. Personable, knowledgeable, supportive, she got my Mum full mobilised and back playing bowls. She had her operation in November 2018 and was she was back playing bowls in January 2019. My Mum has now had a refurbishment of her replacement hip and I have no hesitation in going back to her and recommending her to others.

Andrew Mcculloch

An inner ear problem last July that developed into vestibular neuritis led to problems with the muscles, nerves and joints in my neck which caused nausea, dizziness, vision problems as well as the usual aches and pain. In February I came to the Physio4 You team in despair. Rachel did a thorough vestibular assessment and was able to reassure me that the vestibular problem was resolved. I was then given Helen’s details for the neck issues. She has been a real Godsend. She is calm, friendly, reassuring and professional. After a thorough exam in which she listened carefully to my history of symptoms, she took time to explain what the problem was and a plan for treatment going forward. This problem has caused me real anxiety at times. She set my mind at rest that I will get better. I am still undergoing treatment but there has been a vast improvement. She takes time to answer all my questions and I always leave feeling so positive. I would thoroughly recommend their services
