Following a planned or emergency amputation physiotherapy is key to maximise recovery. Your TraumaPhysio will work hard with you to support you through the rehabilitation process. Our orthopaedic trauma physio team are experienced in assessment and treatment pre and post operatively.
We will work with you within your home, a local leisure centre or outside to create an effective rehab plan to address your specific problems and return to whatever activities you wish. We pride ourselves on supporting you to make aspirational but realistic goals and will use a range of techniques to enhance your recovery.

TraumaPhysio provide thorough assessments that will give us a thorough understanding your physical ability and the problems that you are experiencing. We will usually measure your strength, muscle length, balance and walking pattern. We’re one of the few physio companies in the country with access to portable digital movement analysis which can give an even more in-depth understanding of your difficulties.
