Our Mission

“To provide each person that we see with compassionate and aspirational neurological rehabilitation, which realises their full potential and maintains our core values of excellence, integrity and empathy.”

How We Work

Assessments

NeuroPhysio assessments are comprehensive and we will work hard to get to the root of the problem and take time to fully understand how the person has been affected and the impact the problem is having on their life. All physio assessments are likely to include a thorough discussion of the problem, movement screening and specific testing. NeuroPhysio will discuss the diagnosis and explain the findings following the physiotherapy assessment before proving recommendations of the most effective treatment programme.

HOW WE WORK

Treatment

NeuroPhysio neurological rehabilitation programmes are unique to each individual as no two situations are the same. Our neuro physiotherapists will agree a treatment plan with you to meet your goals and address the problems identified at the initial assessment. For some this may simply be a few tips and a prescribed programme to get the ball rolling, whilst others may benefit from a more intensive period of treatment and ongoing support. NeuroPhysio has experience in utilising a range of different treatment techniques and will discuss and agree the best approach for an individual’s particular circumstances.

Our expert physios will answer any questions that you or your loved one may have with complete honesty and will always be happy to discuss the rehabilitation options available. In short, if we think that a particular physiotherapy treatment would be beneficial, we’ll tell you. If we think that we’ve done all we can, we’ll discuss the reasons why and help you to plan the next steps.

HOW WE WORK

After Treatment

Although neuro rehabilitation with us will come to an end, we know that people continue to make progress as they live their lives and may need advice to progress and manage their programme. NeuroPhysio will remain available to you to answer any questions and provide support to keep progressing.

Testimonials

See what our customers have to say about us...

Helen worked with my 88 year old Mum following her knee replacement. I was very very impressed. Personable, knowledgeable, supportive, she got my Mum full mobilised and back playing bowls. She had her operation in November 2018 and was she was back playing bowls in January 2019. My Mum has now had a refurbishment of her replacement hip and I have no hesitation in going back to her and recommending her to others.

Andrew Mcculloch

An inner ear problem last July that developed into vestibular neuritis led to problems with the muscles, nerves and joints in my neck which caused nausea, dizziness, vision problems as well as the usual aches and pain. In February I came to the Physio4 You team in despair. Rachel did a thorough vestibular assessment and was able to reassure me that the vestibular problem was resolved. I was then given Helen’s details for the neck issues. She has been a real Godsend. She is calm, friendly, reassuring and professional. After a thorough exam in which she listened carefully to my history of symptoms, she took time to explain what the problem was and a plan for treatment going forward. This problem has caused me real anxiety at times. She set my mind at rest that I will get better. I am still undergoing treatment but there has been a vast improvement. She takes time to answer all my questions and I always leave feeling so positive. I would thoroughly recommend their services
